Backbone Infrastructure Ltd is a new venture created to develop a connected group of specialist infrastructure businesses serving critical environments across the United Kingdom and Europe.

The strategy draws on the technical knowledge, relationships and delivery experience developed through TechFlo and other associated businesses. Initial sectors of interest include data centres and hospitals, where reliability, safety, compliance and continuity are fundamental.

Backbone intends to grow through a combination of investment, organic development and carefully selected acquisitions. Target capabilities include cable containment, electrical engineering, fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control and related testing and support.

The long term objective is to bring together capable management teams and complementary technical services within a well governed group. This is a development strategy, and all descriptions of services reflect the businesses actually acquired or operating at the time of publication.
